The staff here are lovely and the location is awesome, although it can be tricky finding parking sometimes. we had a really good experience. The rooms are top-notch with amazing sea views, and there's a calm vibe to the atmosphere. 🌊

This hotel was nice base for exploring Aldeburgh, enjoyed it. Exceptionally comfortable beds, an electric kettle, a sofa bed and an iron were a nice touch. The staff were kind, courteous, did all they can for a fantastic stay.

very good feel and staff all very helpful - good personalities - intent in ensuring guests needs well catered for. Reception extremely helpful and Stan the Porter extra effort in finding a mobile phone charger for me as I had forgotten to take mine with me. My car had broken down and all seemed genuinely concerned to help me. Even the GM Phil tried to help.
The afternoon Tea was very dissapointing as to quality of content and overpriced for what was included.

Very modern, clean, central, comfortable dining room.
Dinner Menu was odd, more a question of elimination than choice, well cooked, but incompatible combinations.

This place is bright, pet-friendly, and offers a lovely view; the location is stunning, and the food at the restaurant is delicious.

The location and with the upgrade to a sea view this made the stay even more enjoyable.
Evening meal was not as good as we expected but the breakfast was good.

The staff at breakfast were attentive without being overly so and able to chat for a few minutes.
The bathroom has an 8"(?) drop and as I was distracted by the slight delay in the energy saving light coming and so glancing up as I stepped in, I fell.I was not hurt but you might consider a faster reacting light in this particular situation.

The best thing was the location
Whilst staff were very obliging they also seemed quite amateur and could perhaps benefitted from formal training. Not wonderful value for money

Bed very comfortable - staff very pleasant and helpful - room smart and spacious - well furnished (could have done with some more drawers) - closeness to the beach and the sound of the sea - easy walk to excellent small shops! The complimentary still and sparkling water + tea/coffee etc. The toiletries - once we got the bottles open - lovely.
Extremely poor mobile phone and internet signal, if any at all! The music in the restaurant. The number of steps in the hotel. Large bathroom, but tiny area for shower and toilet both at one end. I am not large by any stretch of the imagination, but the shower cubicle was a tad small. Shower doors do not meet. Towel rail did not heat up. The hand towels too far from the wash hand basin! The toiletry bottles not user friendly.
